What we cover
Rigging basics & safety
Equipment ID and inspection, basic hardware, sling types, hand signals, site safety, and hazard awareness.
Intro calculations
Basic load weight concepts, sling angles, simple tension considerations, and selecting appropriate slings.
Basic operations
Communication, taglines, controlled movements, and reading/using documentation on site.
Standards & best practices
NCCER criteria, manufacturer guidance, and applying fundamentals safely on the job.
