Grievance Policy
If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we want to know. Please follow these steps so we can make it right:
- Discuss with your instructor or proctor — many issues can be resolved immediately.
- Submit a written grievance — email sarah@rigrighttexas.com with your name, class/assessment date, and a description of the concern.
- Formal review — our Director will review within 5 business days and provide a written response.
- Further appeal — if you’re unsatisfied, you may request that your grievance be escalated to NCCER per their procedures.
We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
NCCER Testing Policies
As an accredited NCCER site, we follow all NCCER testing rules. Key policies include:
- ID Required: Bring a valid government-issued photo ID for all assessments.
- Testing Environment: No outside materials, cell phones, or notes. Approved calculators may be provided if allowed by the blueprint/specifications.
- Retest Policy: First retest after 2 days. After two failed attempts, a 30-day wait is required. Maximum 4 attempts per assessment in a 12-month period.
- Confidentiality: Test content may not be shared, copied, or discussed outside the session.
Violations may result in termination of the exam session and reporting to NCCER.
